Ready to go at Orbis – strong interest in Ravenhall
Demand for industrial land in Melbourne’s west continues with Orbis Business Park at Ravenhall securing 15 sales this year alone.
Buoyed by the strong demand, MAB has released seven premier lots with Robinsons Road frontage which are suitable for trade showrooms and bulky goods.
MAB Corporation General Manager Commercial and Industrial Richard Johnston said the development has attracted strong interest from both owner occupiers and developers.
“Ravenhall is considered one of the fastest growing industrial precincts,†said Mr Johnston. “Due to Orbis’ strategic location and easy access to the Western Freeway, we have seen solid demand from a number of sectors”
Zoned Business 3, Orbis Business Park offers flexibility for a wide range of uses including corporate offices, trade and bulky goods, recreational facilities and office/warehouse operations.
The development boasts great amenity unlike any other industrial development in the West, including an onsite child care centre and cafe. In addition, Caroline Springs and Brimbank Gardens are in close proximity, offering great supporting services.
“With such strong surrounding infrastructure and a booming local workforce, Orbis is attracting a mix of traditional industrial uses as well as white collar industries” said Mr Johnston.
Currently, Orbis is anchored by two major occupiers Fuji Xerox and Independent Tube Mills bringing a combined employment base of 450 to the City of Melton. Once completed, it is anticipated that Orbis will bring 3,500 jobs to the region.
Orbis Business Park is a 34.5 hectare industrial estate located just 1.5km from the Western Freeway interchange via Robinsons Road.
Melbourne’s CBD, ports and airport are also within easy access, just 20 kilometres away.
