Primus moves to University Hill

MAB Corporation’s University Hill project has signed up leading leisure equipment brand, Primus Australia, for its business park precinct.

General Manager University Hill Project, David Hall, announced the significant deal today which will see Primus move its Australian head office operations to University Hill in 2007, joining an impressive stable of companies who will operate out of Melbourne’s newest business address in the future.

MAB Corporation will work closely with Primus to develop the 13,000 sqm corporate office and warehouse facility.

“We will advise Primus on the overall design of their building and assist in obtaining the appropriate planning approvals,” Mr Hall said.

“The proposal includes the concept of a two-storey, high quality building which will be in keeping with the vision rollout for University Hill.”

Key to the decision for the company to move its operations were location characteristics, being close to Plenty Road and the Metropolitan Ring Road, as well as being serviced well by public transport.

“Primus executives were also impressed with University Hill’s mixed-use development plan,” Mr Hall said.

“The integration of the business park into a master planned community that includes high quality residential precincts and a street based town centre provides amenity unsurpassed by any other business park in Melbourne.”

The Primus administration and distribution facility at University Hill will provide employment for 150 people.
