Orbis business park begins

MAB has secured the first tenant for Orbis Business Park in Melbourne’s West with a $7 million manufacturing facility which comprises a 7,200 sqm warehouse, manufacturing and office facility on 1.4 hectares of land.

April will see the completion of Orbis Drive, the main entry boulevard into the Business Park is bringing a new signalised intersection from Robinsons Road into the area creating easy access and egress for the estate.Orbis Business Park is being cobranded with Pellicano Group with MAB developing 34 hectares of land.

In the coming months, MAB will release the Stage One land sales to the market with lot sizes ranging from 1,500sqm to one hectare for commercial and industrial users. MAB’s confidence in the industrial market and investment in this project has been rewarded with the construction of this new development.

Working in partnership with Melton Shire Council, a planning permit was issued within four weeks, enabling new businesses to be delivered to Melton faster.Construction has commenced on the project with completion expected by mid-2010.
