MAB’s University Hill signs state of the art Smile Council Orthodontics practice
MAB Corporation (MAB) welcomes Smile Council Orthodontics to University Hill, who are set to build a specialist orthodontic practice with the estate’s Health and Wellbeing precinct. Construction will commence in early April on the new practice. The move by Smile Council Orthodontics, confirms confidence in the commercial market in Melbourne’s north. The agreement falls on the back of strong interest overall in the University Hill development. The new practice will span over 1900 sqm and will house the latest in orthodontic technology and equipment and offer hassle free basement car parking for patients. In addition to the Specialist Orthodontic services there will also be specialist oral surgeons and a state-of-the art digital radiography (x-ray) centre. With patient comfort and convenience a priority, Smile Council Orthodontics will be providing their patients the ease of having their entire orthodontic treatment in one convenient location. University Hill’s Project Director Jason Wood said, “the Health and Well-Being precinct offering is consistent with the true planning outcomes of the mixed-use development and the Smile Council Orthodontics will compliment the overall amenity of the project.” Danny Whitbourn Smile Council Orthodontics’ Business Manager commented, “We chose University Hill because of its central location within the northern suburbs and because of its close proximity to two main arterials, Plenty Road and the Western Ring Road. We recognise the growth as an increasing number of our patients come from around these areas. University Hill gives us an opportunity not only to continue to work closely with the surrounding dentists but to create something very special, in the form of a modern and patient-focused orthodontic practice” he said The addition of Smile Council Orthodontics consolidates the Health and Wellbeing precinct services which are set to comprise a fully equipped gym and specialist consulting suites including a dentist and the already completed Pelican Childcare, Medical Centre and Priceline Pharmacy. University Hill is a billion dollar integrated, mixed use development in Bundoora, offering businesses in the north a strong platform to be successful for many years to come. Complementing this health and business offering is a range residential living alongside a bustling town centre, and retail shopping experience. In harmony with the offer of a contemporary lifestyle in Melbourne’s north, University Hill’s Health and Wellbeing precinct positions premium health services on the doorstep for residents and workers in Bundoora. The completion of University Hill’s Health and Wellbeing Precinct, will have a total of six health and medical (general and specialist) offerings and estimated to employ up to 150 people. |
