MAB proudly sponsors the 2024 HousingFirst Annual Art Exhibition
MAB has proudly sponsored the 2024 HousingFirst Annual Art Exhibition for the 3rd consecutive year. Last week we had the privilege of attending the opening evening with an opportunity to meet the artists and celebrate their creativity, resilience and community spirit. This year the exhibition was held at the Preston Crossing community art space, located at 28 Oakover Road.
The evening was well attended with the entire room buzzing with guests, artists, residents, live music and canapes to enjoy. All proceeds from the sale of the community resident’s artwork are provided directly back to the artists. As part of the evening David Allt-Graham provided a thank you speech and presented the MAB Artist of the Year Award to Roy Wilkins, congratulations Roy!
The exhibition is FREE and is open between the 6th September and 3rd October at 28 Oakover Road Preston. It is easily accessible by public transport (tram or train) or by car. Opening hours: every Friday from 11 am – 3 pm or via appointment by emailing community@housingfirst.org.au
