MAB Corporation appoints COO ahead of expansion
MAB Corporation (MAB) has stepped up its growth plans with property veteran Guy Pahor joining as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The appointment affirms MAB’s determination to expand the highly regarded Melbourne based property development and funds management group.
Mr Pahor brings to MAB Corporation more than 20 years experience in the property industry – with a diversity of experience, within Australia and the US, in project management, property development and project finance.
During his career Mr Pahor has steered the development of some of Australia’s most notable projects – including the Lend Lease developed, Renzo Piano designed Aurora Place in Sydney and most recently, Melbourne’s 2006 Commonwealth Games Village.
Mr Pahor said he was attracted to MAB because of its potential for growth and history of successfully delivering innovative landmark projects – such as the acclaimed NewQuay development in Melbourne’s Docklands and the award winning University Hill, a 100 hectare mixed-use development in Melbourne’s north.
“MAB has built a strong and diverse platform to grow its business and I’m looking forward to working with Andrew and Michael and the MAB team to take the business to the next level,” he said.
Andrew Buxton said: “Guy will manage the day-to-day operation of the business and work with Michael and myself to shape the strategic direction and drive the growth of MAB.
“Guy’s extensive experience in the property industry will be a real asset to the business.”
