Local developer chooses Thompsons Base

MAB Corporation has closed a deal with local developer Tabak Group at Thompsons Base in Cranbourne West valued at over $6.5m.The transaction of 16 lots range in size from 1,000sqm to 5,700sqm and sends a clear message of commercial support to the local area.

MAB General Manager Richard Johnston said the deal with Tabak Group is significant and that he welcomes experienced local developers who share MAB’s vision of creating business communities that provide opportunities for employment close to home.

“Tabak is a local developer out of south east Melbourne and has decades of experience building high quality, purpose built facilities in varying sizes,” said Mr Johnston.

“They’re excited to be developing in the growing Cranbourne West market and enthusiastic about getting construction underway quickly to create employment opportunities in Cranbourne West,” he said.

Tabak Group was drawn to Thompsons Base by the opportunity of developing warehouse and office spaces in a business park committed to providing amenity for businesses close to home by attracting businesses like gyms, cafes, medical services and food operators.

Thompsons Base Business Park is hailed as the next generation of business communities, designed to service the people who live in the surrounding 5,000 homes and other residents of Casey.

MAB is offering commercial and industrial lots from 1,000 square metres to two hectares with flexibility to accommodate specific company requirements.The site is zoned Commercial 2 which allows businesses greater flexibility of use.

Buyers are offered freehold titles so they will not have to pay body corporate fees and can control their own design outcomes.
