Last opportunity at Meridian

Just two lots remain for sale at Meridian Business Park in Thomastown after a recent surge of sales.

The MAB Corporation development sold more than $6 million in land in the last month alone.

MAB Corporation General Manager Commercial and Industrial Richard Johnston said this is the last chance to secure land in an exciting development.

“Interest has been high and we have seen strong price growth at the development,” said Mr Johnston. “Meridian is meeting the strong demand for prime industrial land in Melbourne’s north.”

Mr Johnston added that businesses are attracted to the high quality park and ideal location.

“The Business 3 zoning also offers high flexibility, suitable for small to large warehousing operations as well as stand-alone offices to suit a range of purposes.”

It is a hub of activity at Meridian with the first businesses moving in and a high level of construction underway. Businesses include:

  • Tyremax – tyre wholesalers, dealers, retreaders and repairers
  • Wedderburn – complete weighing and labelling specialists
  • Austex Industrial fabrics – industrial fabrics wholesaler
  • Tandarra Maintenance – garden care and maintenance
  • Victorian Party Hire – party hire for events.

“Once completed, we anticipate that approximately 2,300 jobs will be created at Meridian,” said Mr Johnston. “This is great news for the City of Whittlesea.”

Wedderburn Regional Manager Victoria and Tasmania, Ben Alvarez, said the move to Meridian has been hugely beneficial to the business.

“We have doubled our work space and strategically structured our business to cater for growth in the years ahead,” said Mr Alvarez. “Meridian is ideally positioned, offering quick access to the freeway enabling sales and technical staff to respond to customer needs quickly and efficiently.

The two remaining lots are well located within the estate at 66 and 72 Latitude Boulevard, Thomastown (Lots 47 and 48) and are priced from $170 per square metre.

Meridian is located on the corner of Heyington Avenue and High Street, Thomastown.

“Meridian’s location is ideal, with great amenities such as the High Street retail and commercial strip and Thomastown train station nearby,” said Mr Johnston. “Close to Melbourne CBD, ports and Melbourne Airport, Meridian presents a unique opportunity.”
