Industry Business Hub – New York comes to South Melbourne

South Melbourne is the place for businesses looking for cutting-edge workspaces. The award winning Plus Architecture has captured the New York warehouse experience in its design of MAB’s new Industry Business Hub.

Stage One will comprise New York style warehouse studios – think
open plan, polished concrete floors, exposed high ceilings, and
elevated views. With Docklands, Southgate and the CBD all within
reach, Industry Business Hub puts businesses at the centre of the action.

Suites range from 45 to 115sqm, and there is parking for 70 cars.

ABD Group was awarded the contract to construct the 5,200m2
project in January 2010. It has since completed documentation
and is now well into construction.

In-ground works (mains and stormwater lines, sewer branches,
electrical conduits) are all installed. Piling is complete. The ground slab will be poured shortly and followed by the construction of the concrete frame and suspension slabs.

The project is due to be completed December 2010.
