Brompton Gasworks Community Update | August 2024

We are pleased to share the positive progress made over the past two months with our contractor Enivropacific successfully completing the following project milestones:

• All tarwells have been removed from site with the final two in-ground tanks to be removed in September.
• Final preparations underway to relocate our sales office to its new location opposite the corner of Drayton Street and Fifth Street.
• Commencement of final earthworks to several areas across site with a target completion date of Q4 2024.
• On track for the first of three Remediation Tent Enclosures to be decommissioned and removed from site by mid-September.
• Review and testing of the boundry monitoring system to optimise odour detection has been implemented and is ongoing.

MAB’s ongoing commitment is to provide timely updates as we progress towards transforming this site into a vibrant urban village that celebrates its historical identity.
