Notification of Works

MAB and our contractor, Enviropacific, remain committed to continual improvement as we progress remediation works on-site. We are working closely with the independent auditor and the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) SA to achieve the best possible outcomes for the community. In recent months we have explored further control measures to minimise odour, including:

• Trialling the effectiveness of running the Emissions Control Systems (ECS) for the Remediation Tent Enclosures for extended periods of time from 7pm to 10pm.
• Monitoring the noise generated from the operation of the ECS units at various speeds to meet the required regulatory standards.

From Thursday 8 August, we will be conducting additional testing of the ECS units in a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week capacity for a period of two-weeks, ending Thursday 22 August. The data collected will be evaluated to inform further consultation with the independent auditor and the EPA. We look forward to notifying the community of the outcomes.
