Berth – a spectacular view

A prime location to enjoy the spectacular views at NewQuay is at Berth – a modern mediterranean restaurant situated over the water.

Owners Steven El Khoury and John Scardamaglia opened Berth’s doors in 2005 and said they were drawn to the amazing location. “It is the perfect setting,” said Mr Scardamaglia.

“We try to cater to everyone’s needs. We offer all day breakfast and an extensive lunch menu or you can pop in for a coffee or glass of wine and antipasto platter.

“Berth is also ideal for that special occasion dinner or an intimate business meeting.”

Berth is a multi-purpose venue that spans over two levels with floor to ceiling windows to capture the city views, as well as Etihad Stadium and bay views beyond the Bolte Bridge.

Downstairs offers three open dining areas and an outdoor decking.

“And upstairs, ‘The View Room’ offers a great space for corporate events, weddings and other celebrations.” said Mr Scardamaglia
