Let’s get walking – The Weekend to End Women’s Cancer

MAB is excited about participating in the Peter Mac fundraiser – the Weekend to End Women’s Cancer, on 1-2 March 2014.

Comprising two solid days of walking across Melbourne, proceeds raised will provide vital funding to research and clinical care at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Chief Operating Officer David Hall will join a team of six MAB team members to complete the walk.

“The whole team is behind this great initiative, either donating funds or providing support at the event” said Mr Hall. “Unfortunately, we have all been touched by cancer in some way, so it is a cause close to our heart.”

It’s going to be a challenge, but we’re ready to do something bold and powerful in an effort to end women’s cancers once and for all”, said participant Karen Heitsch. “Our commitment is based on our love for our fellow sisters, mothers, grandmas, daughters, nieces, and friends everywhere.”
