The Quays – NewQuay’s landmark towers taking shape
Construction of The Quays continues at a cracking pace at NewQuay. Transfer slabs at level seven on both the North and South Towers have been poured. Façade works continue on levels two and three of the South Tower with preparatory works underway on the North Tower.
Lifts have been installed in the South Tower, while Podium apartment structures have been completed to level five with carpark structure at level four.
Chief Operating Officer David Hall said the development has wide appeal, delivering on quality, location and views.
“We are looking forward to the review of a completed prototype apartment before the end of this year,” said Mr Hall. “It is really taking shape.”
Sales of the apartments have also reached an incredible milestone.
“More than 90 per cent of apartments have now been sold,” said Mr Hall. “It is exciting to watch the towers develop. We are on track that residents will be able to move in by Christmas 2013.”
The landmark development comprises 617 apartments and features a podium-based twin tower with a striking glass façade.
The ground floor will include a Health Club with a 25 metre swimming pool, spa, sauna, gymnasium and a yoga studio.
On level one, residents will be able to work, relax and entertain in the Residents’ Club with exclusive access to a library, business centre, private dining room and cinema lounge.
The Podium will be crowned with an expansive roof top garden adjacent to a tennis court, clubhouse and barbeque facilities.
“This is an iconic address, offering an amazing lifestyle,” said Mr Hall. “The Quays is designed by award winning architects McBride Charles Ryan.”
Superb one, two and three bedroom residences are still available for sale. Substantial stamp duty savings are applicable.
