University Hill’s growing medical hub
MAB Corporation’s latest commercial development at University Hill will welcome Bundoora’s first full-service IVF unit in early 2013.
MAB General Manager Commercial and Industrial Richard Johnston said that 240 UNI HILL is quickly becoming a medical hub in the north.
“With a growing population, there are increasing demands for a range of local medical services,” said Mr Johnston. “We are thrilled with the level of interest from medical organisations to establish their business at University Hill.”
City Fertility Centre Chief Executive Officer Adnan Catakovic said that the team is looking forward to expanding its business into the north.
“We currently have full-service operations on St Kilda Road, Melbourne but demand from both patients and doctors to expand our Bundoora service has been great,” said Mr Catakovic.
“University Hill was ideal. The close proximity to transport links will be highly convenient for patients who are travelling.”
Initially, five staff and three specialists will be based at City Fertility Centre at 240 UNI HILL with the potential to increase the team as the service grows. This includes a full time fertility specialist/obstetrician/gynaecologist and two part-time fertility specialist/gynaecologists.
“This is a brand new, purpose-built facility to provide vital fertility and IVF care,” said Mr Catakovic.
“The suite will have a modern and comfortable feel, rather than a clinical hospital atmosphere – our aim is to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our patients.”
In addition to City Fertility Centre, Bundoora Foot Clinic has now opened its doors at 240 UNI HILL providing a wide range of foot care to the local community.
A limited number of medical suites are now available at 240 UNI HILL, for either sale or lease. The development boasts its own conference facilities, ample off street parking and a cafe.
“240 UNI HILL represents a new-generation business environment, providing inner city convenience in a well positioned suburban location,” said Mr Johnston.
