A speedy settlement at MAB’s HarbourOne
MAB Corporation (MAB) has achieved an extraordinary result at its latest NewQuay residential project – HarbourOne – settling the majority of the development in just three days.
Chief Operating Officer David Hall said the fantastic result bucks the trend.
“In spite of a predicted downturn in the economy, MAB has achieved great results indicating ongoing confidence in the inner city apartment market,” said Mr Hall. “Of the 291 apartments at HarbourOne, 207 were settled within a few days, with 98 percent of the building now settled. Typically, a development of this size can take months to settle.
“It is an amazing effort by the team, demonstrating MAB’s expertise and strong collaboration.”
The response to HarbourOne has been positive, with all apartments sold prior to construction commencing in May 2010.
“HarbourOne has broad appeal,” said Mr Hall. “The development is distinguished from others by its stunning amenities including a library lounge, gymnasium and media room. This has made HarbourOne attractive to owner occupiers as well as the rental market.”
HarbourOne is MAB’s seventh tower at NewQuay, bringing the number of residents to 1,500.
The development was completed in late 2011 and comprises 291 apartments, 10 office terraces and 28 serviced apartments right in the heart of NewQuay.
“We are very proud of the end result,” said Mr Hall. “Feedback from residents has been great, stating that they appreciated the smooth process so they could settle in and enjoy their new lifestyle sooner.”
MAB Corporation is now focussed on its next residential development at NewQuay – The Quays – with construction to commence this month.
