2010 brings a strong start to residential

MAB looks to the future as plans roll out at NewQuay and University Hill

Spectacularly located on the waterfront at NewQuay, MAB’s Harbour One (H1) apartment tower is proving hugely successful with those looking to either invest in, or locate to, Melbourne’s booming Docklands precinct.

Fusing modern city life and innovative waterfront design, H1 is located near to world-class event stadium Etihad Stadium,
and provides residents with direct access to Melbourne’s best waterfront shopping, restaurants & cafés, and public transport.
Offering buyers superbly designed apartments over 22 exclusive levels, more than 70% of the H1 tower sold before the end of 2009.

The entire project has now almost sold out, with only 10 apartments remaining for sale. Ground works for the H1 tower have commenced with the builder being appointed in late March and construction underway in April-May.

February saw the launch of the Quay Park Townhouses within the much-celebrated NewQuay precinct at Docklands. Comprising 22 boutique townhouses situated on the southern side of Quay Park, savvy buyers were quick to snap up 20 townhouses within the first week of release.

Quay Park is currently under construction, with the first tree planting to begin in July 2010. Set to open to the public in September
this year, this magnificent communal space will provide NewQuay residents with even more lifestyle choices. Construction is also well underway on The Avenues and promenade, with all new piling and foundations now completed.

University Hill Houses and Apartments Selling Fast
MAB’s residential developments at University Hill have also received top marks from investors and owner occupiers alike, with a strong demand for houses and apartments recorded during the first quarter of 2010.

Lochmore Apartments were completed in February, with residents low moving into the newly completed 91 architecturally designed apartments. With views to Princeton Park, the Wetlands and the Yarra and Dandenong Ranges, Lochmore has set new standards for apartment living in Melbourne’s North.

The first stage of housing at Princeton Rise has completely sold out. Builders have now laid foundations and begun construction of frames. This designer collection of luxury homes is due for completion in August this year. A popular new home choice for Melburnians seeking to blend urban sophistication with natural surrounds, the second stage of Princeton Rise was released in late 2009 and only a few remain for sale.
