Owner occupier sales surge at Aquavista Tower at NewQuay Docklands
Growing demand from owner occupiers for the remaining new office suites at Aquavista Tower, Docklands has resulted in a record number of sales in 2010. MAB Corporation (MAB) has sold thirteen brand new strata office suites worth over $4.3m since January 2010, the highest number of sales in six months since completion.
Selling agent Patrick O’Callaghan from DTZ attributed the success to the higher number of owner occupiers seeking to buy their own office space because of increasing rents and continued tightening in Melbourne’s office vacancy rate. “Buyer enquiry for strata opportunities both from owner occupiers and investors is as strong as ever and amongst other factors, is being driven by a demand and supply imbalance”.
“The office suites for sale at Aquavista represent great value for owner occupiers, in an A-grade office environment with harbour views and an abundance of amenity in the area”.
MAB believes the enquiry from owner occupiers will continue to drive sales success over the remainder of 2010. There are only a handful of suites left for sale ranging in size from 46 – 132m2.
Aquavista Tower is located at 401 Docklands Drive, Docklands. It is in easy reach of CBD, public transport and major freeway networks. Plus the added benefits of New Quay’s marina, restaurants and hotels.
